Vintage Arne Norell "Ari" lounge chair in chromium-plated steel and channel-tufted patinated cognac leather with adjustable neck bolster-Sweden, 1966; manufactured by Norell Möbel AB. This piece is a very well conceived and well executed chair and this example remains in good original condition; the steel frame retains an excellent original finish and the leather upholstery is soft and supple to the touch with a deep, even patina throughout. All buttons, straps, and buckles are in good working condition and the stitching and stuffing are also entirely sound.


Signed with decal manufacturer's label to underside (Norell Made in Sweden).
